🚨I have a problem RIGHT NOW

My server keeps crashing / lagging and the host's support says "everything is fine". What could it be?

In 9 out of 10 cases we see, the host is technically right — their infrastructure is healthy. But your machine, inside it, is under pressure from abusive traffic: bots hammering RDP, automated port scans, IPs opening hundreds of connections. Windows can't tell that abuse apart from legit usage, so CPU and RAM saturate — and what looks like "instability" is actually a silent attack the host doesn't monitor because, technically, nothing crashed. EasyWall shows you exactly that in seconds.

How do I know if my VPS is under attack RIGHT NOW?

Common signs: CPU rises with no reason, RAM fills at odd hours, the server "freezes for 10s and recovers", clients complain about lag but the host's ping is fine. If not, you find out what's actually slowing you down.

My customers/players complain about lag, but the host panel shows no problem. Why?

Because the host panel measures THEIR network, not yours. If 50 bots are opening connections on your port 3389, from the host's perspective everything is fine — packets are arriving. But inside your Windows, the system burns CPU/RAM processing that garbage, and your game/app loses priority. Result: lag for the customer, "all good" for the host. EasyWall measures from INSIDE your machine.

Why does rebooting the server "fix" the problem for a few hours?

Because the reboot drops every abusive connection that was overloading Windows. But the attackers/bots come back in minutes — and you fall into a loop: reboot → 4-6h ok → falls again → reboot. Rebooting treats the symptom. EasyWall removes the cause by identifying and blocking the IP/process/port causing it.

Does it work on any VPS — Hostinger, Contabo, OVH, Hetzner, Kamatera?

Is it an antivirus? Does it replace what I already use?

No. It's a smart firewall focused on network and processes — who connects, how much they consume, what pattern is abusive. It runs perfectly fine alongside your antivirus (Windows Defender, Kaspersky, ESET, etc.). They cover different things: antivirus looks at files, EasyWall looks at traffic and behavior.

Does it protect against DDoS? And what else?

Against application-layer attacks (which is 90% of what takes a VPS down): RDP brute force, port scans, single-IP floods, mass connections, SSH brute force bots, suspicious processes consuming bandwidth. Volumetric DDoS (terabytes) is your host's network problem — no software inside Windows solves that. But what kills your VPS day-to-day is NOT DDoS: it's silent abuse. That's where EasyWall lives.
